Music in the preschool and elementary school age conduces not only to the cultivation of the child’s aesthetic perception but also to the development of its psychokinetic education.
   The Sychrono Conservatory of Athens, in cooperation with a team of specially trained musical educators, houses a musical education department, which comprises the courses mentioned below:

Familiarization with the instruments of the Orff orchestra
Singing, rhythmic motion (eurhythmics)
  Participating in small percussion orchestras, children have the chance to experience the rhythmic element, familiarize themselves with the musical terms and forms and cultivate their individuality as well as their sense of cooperation.
